9 nights/10 days from Venice through Piran to Rovinj

Upon arriving to the airport of your choice you will be met by your driver and driven to Tronchetto parking in Venice, where you can take a Vaporetto (water bus) to your hotel in Venice (suggestions on which bus to take and for how many stops will be provided). Regardless of which airport you are coming to, we’ll pick you up no later than 2 hours after you come through passport control (usually lasts 45min), load your luggage and your jounrey begins!

Venice – a city built on 118 islands is the most unique place on Earth. Instead of being protected by city walls, it was protected by water. Instead of having streets, Venice has canals. Instead of cars, buses, trucks, taxis, Venice has boats. 3 days in Venice will give you enough time to discover all of its charms. Having a coffe on St. Mark’s square, the place Napoleon called “the Showroom of Europe”, walking down the narrow streets of Venice to the rialto bridge or taking a ride on the most romantic boat on the planet – the Gondola – everything can be done at your own pace.

Enjoy Venice once the tourists are gone, catch the sunrays hit the golden mosaics of the St. Mark’s basilica in the evening hours and do not sleep late in the morning in order to see the city come to life.

Since Venice is a city, built on water, our vehicles with wheels cannot enter the city. We suggest booking a watertaxi in Venice or hopping on a Vaporetto (waterbus) to Tronchetto.

In the morning hours, after breakfast, your transfer from Venice to Piran will meet you on Tronchetto parking and it will be time to say arrivederci to Italy. The exact time of departure from Venice will be sent to you by SMS and email 1 day prior to your departure (11:00 ± 2 hours).

The Slovenian coast is a short strip of land between Italy and Croatia and 3 days is just enough to get to know the 3 coastal cities:

Koper – the capital city of Istria as it’s called in Italian is the administrative, cultural and educational center of the littoral area of Slovenia. Built on an island it was connected to the mainland by building a bridge in the 16th century and later all the land around was filled in, so today only the architecture today show traces of the old island.

Izola – a small fisherman’s town with the most authentic narrow streets, small shops and buildings.

Piran – the gem of Slovenia. A small city with less than 5.000 inhabitants, did well for itself until the fall of the Venetian republic (1797), as it managed to finance the building of 21 churches in the city. The main one, giving Piran its image sits on the top and the patron, St. George, protects Piran from all evil.

The exact time of departure from Piran/Portorož will be sent to you by SMS and email 1 day prior to your departure (11:00 ± 2 hours).

Rovinj was first mentioned in Cosmographia by the Anonymous from Ravenna back between the 3rd and 5th century AD. The city played an important role in the Venetian republic and helped the Serenissima out many times when defending it from the Turks. 

The main church sits on the hilltop overlooking the city and it’s charming old center.
